As autumn approaches, we are glad to give you some news of the vineyard and share some insights on the upcoming harvest.<\/p>\n

Reflections on a season marked by early challenges\u00a0<\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

This past spring, which was particularly wet, posed significant challenges for our vineyard. The weather conditions created considerable pressure on the vines, especially at the start of the season. However, thanks to the meticulous care of our teams and the long-standing agroecological<\/span><\/a><\/strong> practices we have implemented over the years, we succeeded in maintaining the vineyard in good condition, particularly on the parcels of the Malartic-Lagravi\u00e8re plateau, which form the core of our grand vin.<\/p>\n

A summer of contrasts\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The first part of the summer, characterized by cool temperatures until mid-July, has contributed to a somewhat later vintage this year<\/strong>. To support the vineyard’s growth, our teams engaged in daily, precise leaf thinning and moderate cluster thinning to optimize ripening conditions.<\/p>\n

The return of warmth and dry weather in August was most welcome, allowing a favorable progression in ripening<\/strong>. Veraison<\/strong> concluded at the end of August, leaving the vineyard in an excellent state.<\/p>\n

Looking towards a promising harvest\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

To date, we anticipate beginning the harvest<\/strong> of the white grapes the second week of september. When the red grapes continue to refine their ripeness, the weather conditions in the coming weeks will be crucial.<\/p>\n

We approach this important period with optimism, confident that the 2024 vintage<\/strong> will hold delightful surprises for us.<\/p>\n
