These are the words that best define our Ch\u00e2teau Malartic-Lagravi\u00e8re 2024 today.<\/p>\n

The style is refined, the wines display such aromatic vibrancy, pure fruit expression, and remarkable freshness.<\/p>\n

The 2024 vintage<\/span> confronted us with a demanding nature, compelling us to demonstrate exceptional precision in our viticultural practices.<\/p>\n

This challenge resulted in wines of remarkable balance, imbued with finesse<\/span> and complexity<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Climatology update<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Winter and spring were marked by mild temperatures and persistent humidity. Spring, in particular, stood out with high disease pressure, testing the vigilance of the vineyard teams.<\/p>\n

However, a favorable window from late May to mid-June allowed for a serene and successful flowering.<\/p>\n

With moderate water stress, the summer was beautiful but free from intense heat, providing the vineyard with just what it needed and promoting a steady accumulation of polyphenols.<\/p>\n

These summer conditions were ideal for controlling vine growth and ensuring an even and harmonious veraison<\/span>. Cool nights and sunny days provided excellent thermal amplitude, which was highly favorable for developing refined tannins and ensuring optimal grape maturity<\/span>.<\/p>\n

A testament to resilience and mastery<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The 2024 vintage is characterized by the coolness of August<\/span>, which lends the whites a rare elegance. The grapes harvested in September exhibit remarkable qualities. The 2024 Malartic whites<\/span> are superb. Balanced and highly refined, they reveal magnificent aromatics with nice acidity.<\/p>\n

\"2024\u00a0 \"Mill\u00e9sime<\/a><\/p>\n

The reds, harvested from late September to mid-October at optimal ripeness, required meticulous attention, including careful sorting to maintain quality.<\/p>\n

In the end, the Malartic reds display excellent concentration with very elegant, fresh, and balanced fruit. These highly expressive aromatics are complemented by a superbly long finish<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The 2024 vintage is a testament to the resilience<\/span> and expertise of the Malartic teams. Despite the climatic challenges, it stands out for its harmony and elegance, offering a vibrant aromatic profile and a promise of greatness.<\/p>\n
