The 2026 harvest draws to a close at Ch\u00e2teau Malartic-Lagravi\u00e8re<\/h1>\n

The resilience of the vine through an extraordinary summer<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Harvest has just come to an end at Malartic, while the cellar is now in full swing. If one thing has been particularly striking this year, it is the remarkable resilience of the vines.<\/p>\n

An early and warm vintage<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

2026 will stand out as an exceptionally early and hot vintage, with successive heat waves from spring through mid-September. Yet, supported by winter water reserves and the vineyard\u2019s deep-rooted vines, our vineyard remained remarkably healthy, with green canopies through to the end and beautiful ripeness across all varieties.<\/p>\n

A historic harvest<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Harvest began on August 17 for the whites, a record at Malartic, and ended on September 18. The fruit was beautiful, pure and highly expressive.<\/p>\n

Early impressions from the Cellar<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

As the last Cabernets begin fermentation and we start devatting the Merlots, the first tastings are extremely encouraging: vibrant fruit, depth, length and beautiful balance, wit<\/strong>h lifted finishes.<\/strong><\/p>\n
