2020 vintage of wines with a strong identity, combining great concentration and freshness.<\/h1>\n

The 2020 vintage is an early one, with exceptional weather conditions, marked by high temperatures and periods of drought, but with episodes of abundant rain and frost. The precise monitoring of the vineyard and the draining dry gravel terroir of Malartic allowed us to take advantage of the climatic challenges, benefiting in addition from a beautiful 10-day window in full bloom. The early harvest was concentrated over a month, ending exceptionally early on 24 September.<\/p>\n

With fairly low yields due to the frosts at the end of March, the Malartic 2020s are marked by a very good density, whose concentration is balanced by a remarkable freshness. The wines are therefore well balanced, with racy and very elegant tannins. The cellar work, which is very accomplished, is carried out according to this philosophy: minimal intervention to enhance the purity of the fruit, and great precision in the post-fermentation work.<\/p>\n

The whites, with their great aromatic purity, stand out in particular, as they are precise, chiselled, round and perfumed. They move into an even higher dimension. The reds, very Cabernet, develop a superb aromatic power accompanied by great freshness. With a silky and elegant structure, the mouth, long and dense, is brilliant.<\/p>\n
